September 10: Tufts Financial Group General Interest Meeting

The TFG executive board will give an overview of the structure of TFG. This will include information on the analyst training program, sectors, the mentorship program, the alpha fund, the diversity initiative and a students’ typical progression through TFG.

November 2019: TFG New York Trip

Students will travel to New York to visit two banks. Throughout the trip, students will have opportunities to speak with alumni and learn about their experiences.

April 16: TFG Speaker Series - Sal Galatioto

Sal Galatioto, F75, President and Co-Founder of Galatioto Sports Partners, returned for a third consecutive year to talk with students about his experiences as one of the leading sports bankers.

March 29: TFG New York Trip

Students traveled to New York to visit Goldman Sachs and Citi. Throughout the day, students had opportunities to speak with alumni and learn about their experiences.

March 7: TFG Coffee Chat - Robert Samuels

Robert Samuels, A96, an Executive Director of UBS’s Wealth Management Chief Investment Office, joined students for a coffee chat. He shed light on his career in finance coming from Tufts.

February 26: TFG Speaker Series - Sue Decker

Sue Decker, A84, who was the President of Yahoo! and is the current Founder and CEO of Raftr, returned to Tufts and spoke to students about her experiences.

February 22: TFG Diversity Initiative - Wellington Management Trip

Members of the Diversity Initiative visited Wellington Management to learn more about the firm as well as its diversity efforts.

December 11: TFG Speaker Series - Chris Cerrone

Chris Cerrone, A10, who is a Partner at Akre Capital Management and previously worked as an equity research analyst at Goldman Sachs, joined us for a video conference to speak about his experiences.

November 9: TFG New York Trip

Students traveled to New York to visit BlackRock and Morgan Stanley; they had the opportunity to speak with alumni throughout the day and at an evening networking reception with senior-level alumni at the Loews Regency Hotel.

October 16: TFG Diversity Initiative - Internship Panel

Students learned about the recruiting process, interviewing and networking tips, and much more from four experienced TFG leaders!

October 3: TFG Speaker Series - David Chang

David Chang, A01, of Wellington Management returned to Tufts to lay out his views on the markets, investing style, and the worldwide commodities trade.

September 22: Finance Career Forum

Alumni from firms such as Morgan Stanley, Greenhill, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Guggenheim, Point 72, Neuberger Berman, Wellington Management, and Riverstone returned to Tufts for a day-long education and networking event. Students had the opportunity to hear from alumni in seven panel discussions and to speak to alumni over lunch.

September 21: TFG Diversity Initiative - Women’s Panel

Successful alumni Anna Winderbaum (Managing Director in Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management), Allysen Mattison (Director at Income Research + Management), and Alexandra Roy (Analyst at Wellington Management) returned to Tufts to share their experience and advice in a panel format.
